The Six of Swords is a card of voyage and discovery.

Two students are passengers in a small boat. The
boat is a vessel, and a symbol of the human form.
A ghostly figure in the back of the boat is
steering the boat, propelling it from one shore to another. He
represents guidance and safe passage. He also happens to look like a
mythic psychopomp, a ferryman who would escort the souls of the recently
departed across a river to the underworld.
The bottom of the boat has been pierced by six
swords, which stand upright like ghostly passengers. No one seems to

The Six of Swords is a card of transition. It can
represent a literal journey, a spiritual passage, an emotional voyage,
or an intellectual expedition.
The students are dressed in yellow, the elemental
color of air. It indicates that they’re thoughtful and quick, and that
they’re practicing air magic.
