The School of Wands
Students in the School of Wands are energetic and fiery,
like their element. Not surprisingly, their magic often incorporates fire,
smoke, sparks, lightning, and powerful jolts of electricity. They have
exceptional magical ability, and they can often initiate powerful spells and
workings simply through conscious — or unconscious — thought and will. They
are uncommonly brave. They are also the most impulsive students, and often
have to work on developing both self-control and the wise use of their
magical skills. Their color is red; the girls wear red vests, and the boys
wear red tunics. Their symbol is a lion, and their elemental guardian is the
salamander.
